On Friday, June 18, 2010, our families had a special afternoon. We watched a Baltimore County Police helicopter land in our field and toured a Baltimore County Fire Department ladder truck. Afterward, our children served their families special snacks which the children prepared.

The children were amazed! Some of our children wanted to climb the ladder.

Our four-year-olds wait their turn to climb in the truck.

Our school aged children wait on the other side of the truck.

Always ready!
While the fire fighters are with us, they must be ready to leave at a second's notice to answer a call. Their suits and boots are ready for them to step in and go.

No, it's not a firefighter.
The firefighter's jacket and hat must be ready, just like his suit and boots.
