Our Purpose

The purpose of this ministry is to provide quality loving care and guidance so that each child enrolled may reach his/her greatest potential in all developmental areas—spiritual, physical, social, emotional and cognitive. We seek to provide a program of ministry and outreach to the families of the children enrolled.

Standards

We have developed a set of standards that helps guide our program to maintain our purpose and mission. You may view our Program Standards by downloading them from our Forms and Information page.

Curriculum

The curriculum is based on current research revealing that the first five years of a child’s life are the most crucial for learning. It is during these years that the child develops the basic knowledge necessary for him/her to become a successful learner. Creative Curriculum©, Maryland's State Curriculum, the Maryland Model for School Readiness, and Maryland's Healthy Beginnings are used in conjunction with thematic units and Bible stories to motivate learning. Activities are carefully planned based on effective and developmentally appropriate practices for early childhood. Each classroom group has a set of goals and objectives that target growth in each developmental area.

Our prayer is that every child who attends our center will acquire skills and a love for future learning and excellence.
